FREEDOM - so easy to say,
But, difficult to understand.
Those, who know it's meaning,
Live a life which is grand.
What is freedom? -I ask myself.
A question which to me still remains a mystery,
But, it is the key to life's complicated chemistry.
Then, came a day when truth just stood before me,
In the quest of finding the same answer, I met some people.
They were different, not from this world,
They displayed emotions never seen before.
They were those few who knew their destination,
Those who were embarking this journey With joy and bliss.
They believed in collaboration not competition,
They believed in lifting each other when need be,
They had that glitter in their eye.
The demeanour; so attractive, all encompassing.
They had the courage to explore unchartered land,
They left the social stigma and obstacles behind,
They were ready to fail, get up and run again.
Not a wrinkle on their forehead but only sign of joy,
The unending faith which never let them cry,
The ability to celebrate other's success,
Something unseen in the world where I rest.
Wearing emotions on their sleeves they move uninhibited,
As if they have found life's secret.
Success - a by product they are so sure,
It is what they create along the way that makes them so pure.
The answer was so clear to be seen,
may be I didn't have the eyes to believe.
Freedom - I realised is a choice,
Where dreams are non - negotiable,
Where you steer your life and not the other way round,
When you ask them to define,
They say freedom is to "RAISE YOURSELF TO HELP MANKIND"
